In this blog series we stroll down memory lane with our conference participants, who have kindly shared their memories of our conferences.
The first conference organized by Evipro was The 2nd European Conference on Mental Health Nursing, in 2013 in Turku Finland. There were over 200 participants from 14 countries all over the world. Jamileh (Behnaz) Mohtashami came to the conference from Teheran, Iran and shares now some of her memories about the conference:
Jamileh writes: ”First of all, I’d like to say I ‘ve participated at ECMH six times: 2013 Turku, 2014 Tallin, 2015 Riga, 2018 Split and 2020 and 2021 online. When I came to Finland for the first time, I did not know anyone, but because of the kindness of the ECMH team, I was attracted to the ECMH and I felt I was among my family. This event is a very interesting and amazing experience not only to learn new subjects but also to get familiar with new people from different cultures. I do feel being among you means for me” I don’t care who you are, where you’re from, what you did, as long as you love me”.
